In all seriousness tho this is the lowest I've seen the XTX; all GPUs are still too high imo but if you've been looking for a deal on a top-tier card this bears real consideration.
I bought a 7900 XTX on day one, luckily i watched a stream on AMD site's drop alert. Worth the money even at the $1,000 MSRP.
Only downside was finding/getting AI artwork software that works with this graphics card. Best I could ever find over the last 9 months was nod.ai's SHARK UI that works with these cards for generating AI artwork with any custom civit.ai models within seconds: https://github.com/nod-ai/SHARK
Unfortunately, the other popular AI software Automatic1111 still doesn't work with windows and AMD GPUS, so be warned.
Played Hogwarts Legacy day one, and loved it. AMD kept updating with the latest games to smooth out the game each week from known glitches, which was quite amazing. It couldn't handle max raytracing, but haven't tried it in a few months, and I'm sure AMD updates have fixed that too. Loads the Matrix Unreal 5 demo very well. About to venture into Oculus Quest2 games from direct linking to this card.. as well as AI 3D Generative game developments.
Saw negative comments in other threads of the Zip payment system. Is there any way to pay off the purchase in entirety early so as not to accrue interest?
I stand corrected - being forced into Zip makes this a pass, unfortunately. But if you can find an XTX for around this price WITHOUT gimmicks it would certainly be a contender...

I bought the 7900xt with zip and the only extra charge accrued was the $6 fee. There was no interest if paid on time

That is true. However, due to the nature of the market w/ GPUs being grossly overpriced for the performance you get in return, I went ahead and went w/ the XFX 6950XT which was on sale for $567 a couple of weeks back.

I bought one of these from Aaawave a couple months ago where I was not charged sales tax. I remember at the time the math worked out to be equivalent to me having paid normal tax on a $920 card so it felt like a way better deal than the $990 or whatever I actually paid.
