It definitely is! Most people would be completely satisfied with the default settings. I hired a regional calibrator who does monthly tours to do mine. He dialed in the color accuracy and corrected a good amount of the color banding/posterization I was seeing.

I'll make it easy for you. I've had an OLED for 9 years now in family room with 10 windows. No regrets. I had a 6 series TCL, and it stopped working literally 1 month after warranty expired. Go OLED and no regrets.

Correct. The G2 is great, but the G3 is the best this generation.

Still, this G2 at this price is a deal if you don't already have a high end LCD or OLED - if you already have a recent OLED, this isn't worth the price of admission.

I have an A80K Sony, so I'm hoping that next year Amazon circles back with the same deal on the G3. That feels like a true upgrade.

QM8 price increased so I went ahead and jumped on the g2. Have had no issues with any of my 3 LG OLEDS, so it's probably good to stick with LG anyways.

Purchased! Can't wait to see it hung up on my wall. Had bought a g3 but for $2800 after tax and cash back vs $4300 this seemed like a no brainer.

That's just not a true statement at all. G3 is a lot brighter which is a big deal as these 2 series tvs don't have amazing brightness. I would get a c2 or g3 only

We get it, the G3 has amazing brightness. Prior to 2023 all other LG OLED's were barely visible.

I know it's a nit, but I can't stand the silver-ish bezel around the screen on the G2 (and G3 I believe).
