In for 2x 18TB on wd.com with PayPal. Tried to add 3 to the cart, but WD limits to 2 in the order. Backorder notification:

The product(s) has been placed on backorder and will be shipped to you as soon as inventory becomes available by 25-Jul-2023.

Ugh just bought a bunch of 18TB easystore drives to upgrade the NAS storage pool and finished stress testing my last one this morning. Have already integrated 3 of them into my NAS. As much as I'd want to go back and get true Red drives and save an additional $30 per drive on what I paid, I do not want to start the process of testing and repairing the storage pool all over again. I did not think these would be on sale for Prime Day. You live and you learn.
I'm in the same boat as you, snagged one just over a month ago when it hit $280. Oh well.

I usually receive an email confirmation confirming the pending PayPal rewards within 24 hours of the WD order. And I've done this like 3 or 4 times now and every time that's happened. The title of the email is usually like "You have XXXX pending PayPal Rewards points".
Thanks for that feedback. I was very careful to click through from the PayPal offer to make the purchase but I am still not convinced I am going to receive it.

I am considering this deal if I could make it work, but I'm not sure what to do differently to succeed.

Not sure what went wrong in your case. I said it another post but I basically use a clean browser with no extensions like ad-block installed and checkout with Paypal.

Is it recommended to use this with a adapter with MacBook? Any suggestion? Thanks.

I order four 18TB Pros from Amazon but the model # on the boxes shows that i was sent two of those and two 8TB Plus drives. Amazon doesn't have any more in stock so the only option is a return (unless/until they get more in stock before the return window closes).
