Hemming the leg pants is inexpensive, but if you need the sleeves shortened (requires removal of the sleeves and then re-attached) or the jacket shortened or altered to pull in it will cost quite a bit. My mom charges $70 to shorten jacket sleeves, but she is booked 2-3 weeks in advance as she's been an alterations/seamstress for over 40 years in my city and has a rep for quality work.
Lol. You did everything right, are helping others and still get salt.

Thx for creating a separate thread or I and others would not have seen it
ya I was looking at these, pretty hard to argue against a $100 suit. Just make sure you go to a tailor to make it perfect, which will probably be about $100-extra expense. Probably a fused construction, but its still worth it for the price with 100% wool or 50% blend. Here is a link to a comparison of different suit brands and Jos A Banks scored an F, but if you dont have a lot of money it's still a reasonable option and youll still look sharp: https://www.gentlemansgazette.com...it-brands/

The price is hard to beat for a cheap suit but keep in mind it does have a polyester which may not be very breathable and probably lacks the structure and durability of a half or fully canvassed suit.

What kind of tailor is charging you $100 to hem a suit? Unless you are getting the hem in solid gold.
Just because the OP said 100% wool doesn't make it so. The first link is only 98% wool and the third link is only 70% wool. The only one 100% wool is the second link which has very limited sizes.
I"ll hold out for a Jcrew Ludlow suit deal. Usually once a year there's a crazy deal and the material is much better than JAB. But thanks for posting none the less, there hasn't been a 100% wool suit deal in a long time.
If you sign up for email, they will send you a code for $25 of $125. There is also an Amex offer for $25 back for spending $125 at Joseph A. Bank. So if you are going to spend $99 already, you might as well find something else for $25 to add on and use the $25 off $125 and if you have the Amex offer also, you might as well find something else for $50 to add on and you can then get $25 from Amex and also $25 off from the coupon.

Yeah, having a suit tailored properly can be pricey. Having the pants hemmed on an off-the-rack suit doesn't count as a tailored fit. I'll often try to get away with that if I can find a good enough fit, but I have no delusions of having a perfectly fitting suit. That would almost always require some other adjustments. My need for a suit is only occasional though.
