Question: Is there a certain time frame that I need to activate a new account after buying this kit?(2 answers)

Answer: Your SIM card has an expiration date listed on it. That would be the last time you could activate it. Good news is that date is years out.

Another Answer: They would not activate mine, and it had over a year to go. They told me they did not sell 3-month cards and to go buy a new one. I tried numerous times and then had to toss my money in the trash can.

Both answers are missing key details to properly answer your question though
