the brad nailer and the vacuum are still a deal if you need the batteries. rest id prolly agree with
I hear so many good reviews about ryobi brad nailer. Now that you said it, I'm going to put the vac on my 'to get' list.

Tghe stick vac in incredible. That was only available with the more expensive $199 3 battery and a tool deal during "Ryobi Days" which I now think is over. The stick vac is as good or even better than my Dyson Animal V6. Highly recommended.
The Dyson V6 design is annoying versus the V8+
Yes, having the animal style would be nice for hardwoods though and $$ to upgrade that to the higher series.

Good to know that it's on par or better with it though.

Sounds like it didn't go over as well as they thought it would the first go round so they're doing it again. These Ryobi Days get way worse every year. Didn't see anything this year that I couldn't get way cheaper at Direct Tool Outlet during a good sale.

They have like 30,000 of the $99 kits and 10,000 of the $199 kits.

My local store has the clearance price on the HP batteries, and all the signage still up about the free tool. I could probably make the argument to get the deal but they don't have the stick vac which is what I really would like.

I'd honestly pay the $199 for the batteries and stick vac but it seems it's no longer available.

I tried that a couple days ago, 79 or 159 for the batteries, but no more free tools. The manager said the same thing about promotion ended 7/17, so he couldn't match online. He suggested either 79, 159 for batteries only in-store, or 99, 199 for free tools online.

I tried 1 shop and 1 manager only. U may have better luck if u tried different shops.
Maybe because the deal didn't start over yet?

I used to buy these Ryobi tools until they all started to break after only light use. I switched to Kobalt and they are built to last and perform way bettert. Never again Ryobi..
They have a 3 year warranty and 1 year return if you buy with a home depot cc. They are definetly not crappy tools what exactly happened?

I don't have any 4Ah batteries and kind of think this deal might be pretty good for me actually. I know the 'major value' comes from the 'hackable deal' but it still seems like a good deal if you need the batteries, yeah?
If you are new-ish to this tool platform, get the HP batteries and tools.
The $199 deal for 3 HP batteries and a free HP tool is the way to go. (not sure if this comes with a rapid charger?)
Ryobi is stepping up their game with this HP stuff.

Well, they can't go too high quality. Otherwise, it will touch the Milwaukee line.

The only Ryobi tool that I regret buying is the inflator. It started smoking after light use/ bike tires. I got a replacement but I have heard too many stories. Everything else from Ryobi works very well. I just jumped on this deal too many times and I literally have 2 brand new batteries from years ago just sitting.

Is the 3/8 brushless compact impact wrench combo kit a good deal at $200?
