All GE dishwashers will leak after x number of heat/cool cycles, destroying your kitchen.
Don't take my word for it. Google it. There should be a class action and the executives should be fired. The engineers for sure knew this, it's so basic it's not their fault.
Here's the part. You can see where they fuse plastic to rubber, which expand at different rates , and will leak after a few hundred, maybe a thousand cycles. Using a dishwasher daily, this is three years. All the modern ones sold today I've seen use this exact part.
