You can't just put things in ziplocks and have them turn into single servings as from the factory. They remove the oxygen from the individual bags and replace it with an inert gas so that they are harder to smush and don't go stale. Once you open that giant bag you are on the way to staletown.

as others have said, i ordered a few boxes of these, the dorito ones and the chips and they are all mostly stale. Not sure how they store them in the warehouses, but it truly sucks. I end up buying these at walmart because they are fresh.
