The real 'sweet spot' for phones now is the S22 Ultra unlocked, or- when the S24(made of titanium) releases soon, the S23 Ultra. The network components and build quality are 2x better for 1/4 the price.
I want a smaller phone too, but this aint it. it's just as big, but cut in half, and made to break.
Flip5 is not big at all in my opinion. After I watched several review video on flip5, I decided to get one to try.

IMHO, if they were NOT (made to break), the major phone manufacturers would provide protective cases/screen protectors with all new phones (and that especially applies to their respective flagship phones).
Also, some (such as Apple, Samsung) wouldn't use freakin' !GLASS! to encase the body of the phone. Geez! A glass phone. Really? A glass phone sounds so 'rugged/durable'. *rolls eyes*

Just traded in 2 to preorder upgrade to flip 5 last week via Samsung deal
I overpaid a little at $460 because I assumed that it needed to be factory unlocked (which I now learned it doesn't). The phone arrived today without a blemish on it. It literally looks like it never been used. I put it though some tests and everything seems to check out. Very happy with my purchase as of now, but still a little nervous about Samsung's trade-in process.
