I have a number of these as well.
Since they are BT BLE, they just broadcast their readings out every minute or so.

Those who have Home Assistant can read these values right into HA:

This is a killer deal, I love these things for monitoring temperatures in my office. This is also compatible with Home Assistant which is great.

Just had 4 of them delivered.

I powered them all up and added them all to the app without differentiating them lol

Is there a way to identify them through the app against something physically printed on the device?

Suppose I can just remove the batteries from all but one and go from there

Look at the screen & match it on the app. Put in various places if you need to.

I have some of these, and note that they do not like rechargeable batteries. The voltage of rechargeables is slightly lower than disposables, and it means they die super super quick on rechargeables.

Rechargeable lithium batteries output 1.5v.

Unfortunately there aren't any useful identifiers printed on the devices themselves (you need the MAC address, but the devices only have a useless serial number printed on them). Most apps use the last 4 digits of the device's MAC address to identify them like H5075_1234 (until you assign a "friendly" name). You can use a BT scanner app to grab the MAC addresses, pull the batteries one-by-one, or throw one in the fridge/freezer for a few minutes to identify them.

Whenever I get new WiFi or BLE devices, I always use a BLE scanner to grab their MAC address and a label maker to identify them.

$13.56 now with lightning deal, $22.99 - $4.60 (lightning deal) - $4.83 (code WG3B3H6C). The code would not work for me initially because I tried to order the black version for the lightning deal (which I bought a few days ago). I changed to the grey version and the code worked for me.
