Not noisy at all, can barely hear it when it runs.
The fridges this size are not frost free, so yes they all make ice droplets on the back wall and they have a defrost cycle that runs every once in a while that melts it off.
Mine also builds up a fair amount of ice in the freezer compartment, but it doesn't take that much time to clear it out once a year or so. I've put off defrosting the freezer part too long and now it won't hold as much stuff because there is a lot of ice.
You do get what you pay for...
Or for a spare.
Go buy a mini fridge/ appliance stand. I bought one with wheels for $25 off amazon.
Great for drinks, and some extra food if we do a big shop. Now the freezer compartment isn't all that good so don't put meat or ice cream in there but fine for waffles/pancakes for the kids.

But it's $200. Great compliment to a regular refrigerator if your wife has a tendency to fill up the main refrigerator with giant pots and pans, a freezer full of random things she will TOTALLY cook some day, etc. - while you just want to keep some beer cold and have a few frozen meals handy when you don't feel like cooking.

So far no issue with freezer other than powdery ice forming along inner walls. So far I have frozen vegetables and nuggets in there. Plan to store ninja creami pints too. I would do frozen meats but since they are larger I just put them in our garage freezer

This is being used as my main downstairs fridge. I keep food and cooked leftovers, some fresh veggies, cooked rice, various condiments, apples and milk in it. Haven't experienced any freshness issues. I keep it around 3 temperature level, it seems if I go higher the noise from it constantly stays on. Before that used a $100 insignia fridge 2.6 cu ft for 2 plus years. Now it's my other spare mini fridge. Mainly use it now for drinks or smaller foods space

The short version is because of the way the fridge operates it doesn't do a great job of holding temperature when it has to deal with cooling down things like warm drinks.
