I own this unit 5 yrs or more.. 1st one has been replaced under warranty for the same problem after 1-2 yrs. The battery cuts the unit down after a short use, and I consider the unit being lightly used only to vacuum small area carpet. Now my 2nd one has been acting up for 1-2 yrs now. We been just using it for a short run until it cuts off. Overall, I am very happy with the unit and just wish they corrected the battery problem

This is definitely a good price and the lowest I've ever seen on a pivot.

But personally, I have migrated to their other vacuum that supports swappable 20V batteries instead, since I've lost too many vacuums in the past due to bad batteries while everything else was fine.

This was $50 earlier this year: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09NCKS...B09NHW1QF9

I had this vac for less than a year and the battery held very little charge. I've had the Shark Wandvac since and it is still going strong after 5 years+.

Same happened to me. Great suction and endurance for about a year, then suddenly 30-60 seconds max before it cuts out and needs the charger. Replaced with cordless Tineco S10 via Walmart last Black Friday.. best replacement ever.

I think this is the same model but i bought this 10 years ago for $50 and it is still running great. Friend tried to convince me a Dyson was better and his ended up dying a month past the warranty period.

I had this vacuum more than 7 years for $72, it's still running fine. I'm considering getting another one at this price.

Like others have said, I had this and the battery wore down after 1 year. Like the battery wouldn't last more than 10 seconds. Awful, just awful. Stay away.

At least Dyson has plenty of 3rd party battery replacements for cheap. This device has a soldered battery and no place sells the replaceable battery. It's trash after the battery dies even if you're willing to solder your own replacement battery. Mine lasted just under two years. I bought my mom a refurb Dyson, her refurbished battery only lasted 1.5yrs but I replaced it with a 3rd party one for $24! It is still going strong after 3.5yrs with the 3rd party battery now.

The price is cheap, it's compact but be prepared to trash it once the battery dies.

Agree on the poor battery.
I bought this to replace one of those 'back to school $40' B&D ones that could only hold a 1 min charge after a year. Same thing happened with this model; a little over a year after casual use (vacuuming crumbs on top of a couch once a week), I'm lucky to get more than 1-2 minutes of run time.
