This reminds me of that episode on Andy Griffith when they reluctantly bring Howard along to fish with them and he shows up with all this unnecessary gear. Lol. You don't need much more to fish than a pole and some bait. It's not rocket science. I do however use a similar vest when I'm hunting though. It's useful in that situation because you are usually hiking in somewhere and especially if you are hunting with a shotgun you are going to have a lot of extra shells you need to keep handy.

Thanks, OP. Ordered enough for my entire family. My daughter and I are getting two (men's small and kids XL) to double up the capacity. My son may not be crazy about the idea of wearing two so I just ordered one. We will be using them for our upcoming overseas trip.
