I have the HSS version of this and it is great. But I imagine it might be a bit hit or miss since the headless guitar I got by EART needs a lot of work to get set up properly before I can play it. My strat version was pretty good out of the box, but you will want to change the strings right off the bat. They are garbage. The other issue was tightening the spring on the tremelo which was set right at a tension that kept it from being truly decked while also not being truly floating. That made for a buzz, but it was trivial to fix.

If you are comfortable doing mild set-up work like that then are really a great way to go. I have about 20 guitars and this is my daily player. I use a Brian Moore to record with and a Fender strat to write or play live with.

I bought one a couple years ago for about $50 less. It punches way above its weight. Great neck, stainless frets. Hard to go wrong with it

I have heard good thing about these. Recently followed the hype and picked up a Grote LP for 156 from Aliexpress had have been extremely pleased with the purchase.

Extremely impressed considering I bought it from a Chinese Outdoor Sports store.

I'd avoid this non-brand cheap Amazon guitars. Quality control is unknown and you can assume the cheapest possible parts, terrible fret jobs, and tuning instability.

If you want a cheap guitar, keep to brands you've heard of (and try to avoid their cheapest line).

That's not my own experience with the EART Telecaster model. The workmanship was quite good, especially the neck and frets. The pickups weren't anything special, but plenty usable. The finish was excellent.

As the one who submitted the deal, I'll say I make it a point to avoid posting deals for garbage products.

I saw this deal on Monday, took too much time researching, and regret not jumping on it! Been looking for my first electric. I'll be keeping an eye on these going forward!
