There are a lot of people claiming 4070 is a 140w full tsp version not the Best Buy saying 105w.
Combined with Discover offer 5% back with Apple Pay, this is a no brainer $950 for a 4070.
But man i want it.
I've been shopping for the 40xx laptops for about 2 months and this is the best VALUE (not total specs) I've found.
I have a gorgeous 500nit 3070 legion but I paid so much more for it.

Also, it is an excellent laptop and probably unbeatable value at this price.

Pity, I'll miss the Dell's 16:10 3k screen when I'm using it on the go.
I'm gonna compare this Tuf laptop against used Razer 15 Oled with an i7 12900h and RTX 3070ti 8GB GPU (105w tdp) I bought from Amazon warehouse for $1,600 last week (30 day free return).
The Razer I expect to have way better build quality and display quality with the 240hz QHD Oled display but I'll be using the laptop docked to my LG 48" oled TV most of the time so the laptop display is not as big a deal. And 70% more expensive is a big difference.
Benchmarks say the 3070ti is about 10% slower than the newer 4070 and also more of an energy hog so we'll see.

For pure portability, an 1lb tablet with an keyboard case is unbeatable. Or an 2.5-3lb 13" ultra portable windows laptop like an XPS 13 or LG Gram 13.
I schlepped airport to hotel via public transit through many countries in Asia. The 15" gaming laptop on my back got pretty heavy after a while.
I brought just a 12.4" tablet my last Asia trip, skipped the laptop and a suitcase. So much easier traveling.

So this takes the prize for best bang for buck gaming laptop.
