Almost gone. Simply buy it. This is brand new not the junk open box deals.
There are a lot of people claiming 4070 is a 140w full tsp version not the Best Buy saying 105w.
Combined with Discover offer 5% back with Apple Pay, this is a no brainer $950 for a 4070.
Solid specs, wish i was in the market for one but not really playing any games to justify the purchase.

But man i want it.
Grabbed one. Don't complain about the screen and ddr4 for $999 and a 4070. You should be playing on an external monitor to enjoy this 4070 anyway. This CPU carries a lot of the weight over other 4070 specs at BB.

I've been shopping for the 40xx laptops for about 2 months and this is the best VALUE (not total specs) I've found.

I have a gorgeous 500nit 3070 legion but I paid so much more for it.

Phenomenal value for the price; looks like their eBay storefront has matched the price - though unsurprisingly, it's nearly sold out. Pleasantly surprised to see 100% sRGB 144Hz panel (as those tend to be of lower quality, vs 120Hz / 165Hz / 240Hz ones).

It shows max 140 Watt TDP for the GPU right in the system.

Also, it is an excellent laptop and probably unbeatable value at this price.

What do you guys think about the portability of something this size and weight? I'm wanting this to travel and backpack everyday. Should I rather just get something smaller? Thank you for your insight!

Thanks, in for one, the $939 open box excellent. This will replace my Dell Inspiron 16 plus with the 3060 (65w tdp). The Dell's continuously malfunctioning touchpad has been driving me crazy.

Pity, I'll miss the Dell's 16:10 3k screen when I'm using it on the go.

I'm gonna compare this Tuf laptop against used Razer 15 Oled with an i7 12900h and RTX 3070ti 8GB GPU (105w tdp) I bought from Amazon warehouse for $1,600 last week (30 day free return).

The Razer I expect to have way better build quality and display quality with the 240hz QHD Oled display but I'll be using the laptop docked to my LG 48" oled TV most of the time so the laptop display is not as big a deal. And 70% more expensive is a big difference.

Benchmarks say the 3070ti is about 10% slower than the newer 4070 and also more of an energy hog so we'll see.

$919 open box fair or $929 open box satisfactory doesn't seem worth saving that little money for moderate or major cosmetic damage. And missing vital accessories. Just an missing power brick will wipe out the savings.

Depends if you need to game or use intensive apps on the go. 4.8lbs + 1.5lbs for the 240w power supply will get heavy on your back if you're walking tens of miles.

For pure portability, an 1lb tablet with an keyboard case is unbeatable. Or an 2.5-3lb 13" ultra portable windows laptop like an XPS 13 or LG Gram 13.

I schlepped airport to hotel via public transit through many countries in Asia. The 15" gaming laptop on my back got pretty heavy after a while.

I brought just a 12.4" tablet my last Asia trip, skipped the laptop and a suitcase. So much easier traveling.

i want an 4080 laptop with DDR5 ram and a oled or mini-led display. But I don't want to pay $1.2k-1.5k more money.

So this takes the prize for best bang for buck gaming laptop.

Not sure if I'm an odd use-case, but looking for a large screen desktop replacement laptop like this size, with number pad I use all the time for work, and for video editing on external monitor. Games will be lower priority. Would this be suitable?

How is build quality? I normally normally like buying business class laptops like HP Zbook for the build quality, but I'm looking at ones with actual gaming graphics cards now. What product lines do I need look at for comparable build quality?
