TUF is better if you need performance for a lower price, and Zephyrus is better if you need performance, portability, and all the bells and whistles.

This thing is great! I am coming from a 10200 i5 laptop with 3060 and 1080p with 250 nits. MSI gf65 thin. I am blown away on how much brighter and clearer the screen is in the M16.
Here is a couple details on the SSD and RAM:
The preinstalled M.2 NVME is a Micron MTFDKBA1T0QFM that uses 176 layer QLC NAND up to 4500 MB/s read and 3600 MB/s write.
The preinstalled memory is one single stick of Micron DDR5 4800 16GB model MTC8C1084SC48BA1.
I'm going to pick up a 2TB WD SN850X and a 2 pack of Crucial DDR5 16GB ram at my local Micro Center.

I have an old ROG G752VT that I'm checking out potential replacements. It's still going strong, but it is getting up there for every day and all day use. Not a gamer, the gamer laptops seem to have the best specs for graphics, photo editing, publications, etc.
Thanks.

Also be mindful the best buy site has tons of errors of specifications on their computers. The Tuf says USB 3.1, but it's actually 3.2.
Also in the same boat on if this quantifies the $500 jump. Depends on how you are going to use the laptop, as a desktop replacement or actually as a laptop or how often as a laptop for the screen the to matter. The i7 in the Tuf does not do well in multicore according to reports. The CPU difference and DDR5 are big improvements for a laptop to last longer.
seven of the screw sit underneath glued rubber stoppers. Not sure if warranty is avoid if you do remove those glued rubber stoppers.
