These look unavailable for shipping for me at least. One Good available for pickup a few hours away. So this seems to be pretty YMMV. Good price though, probably would've snagged one.

I own this M16 for 4-5 months already, and I play a lot of warframe. And no, this i9 isn't affected by it. Just take a look at this chart, all crashing CPUs are desktop chips.
The CPU is very hot though. Despite using liquid metal thermal material, it could easily reaches 95C when playing Helldivers 2.
"Based on our in-depth analysis of the reported Intel Core 13/14 Gen desktop processor instability issues, Intel has determined that mobile products are not exposed to the same issue. The symptoms being reported on 13/14 Gen mobile systems – including system hangs and crashes – are common symptoms stemming from a broad range of potential software and hardware issues. — Intel representative to Tom's Hardware."

I've been using this ASUS m16 13900h stock. All updates installed. Gaming for sometimes at 20hrs a week for at least 1 year. No issues, never crashed. COD, apex, Fortnite. Never an issue of any kind.Still shocked with DLSS I can acheive 240fps in Fortnite.
I have benchmarked it many times with passmark and 3Dmark and still only slightly keeps improving performance with updated drivers. I'm happy with the laptop. The screen also has very black contrast with bright colors and whites. Keyboard keys feel nice and the metal construction feels quality built from ASUS.

So basically, Intel's saying hangs and crashes are just the normal hangs and crashes that everyone has experienced for decades (due to unstable software and crappy hardware design). In other words, nothing to see here with regards to mobile chips.

I'm using a 14900k and gaming almost every day. I have not had any issues so far. Intel has also extended the warranty by an additional 2 years which is nice.

To be fair, it's not like Intel is gonna come clean on this issue even if it has a common root. Desktop cpus have always gotten more wiggle room from the cases/mobos/OEMs so they are the ones more likely to blow up while unstable, because they have less attention to thermal safeguards
Many people who defended/denied the DESKTOP cpu problem put forth the same argument, that motherboards were primarily to blame
The fact that Intel acknowledges problems on laptop chips being widespread, rather than infrequent, kinda makes it hard to accept their explanation, it's just too coincidental that an epidemic of "unrelated" problems showed up to ruin their mobile chips
Good price but ymmv.I picked up a good condition one but it had a weird issue with the keyboard disabling for a few seconds randomly. It would happen several times per day. Also battery health was only at 87% and the laptop was first registered more than a year ago so no remaining factory warranty.
There has also been reports of laptops chips crashing
Intel has said it's related to software issues
I don't trust anything INTEL has said in the matter considering how shady they have been about their laptop chips
There haven't been "reports" there have been anecdotal "I read a guy saying he heard that another guy's laptop started acting funny."
I'm not saying it isn't possible that Intel HX mobile processors may also be affected, but right now all the talk about mobile intel chips being affected is beyond rumor, speculation, and hearsay.

I have been using my Asus Q540VJ since the end of Jan 2024.
This laptop has 13900h, I added 32gb ram to it. I always use this laptop with egpu 4060ti 16GB.
There are many times the system suddenly freeze without blue screen randomly. After I press the power button for longer then 4 sec to reboot, checked the logs, there is nothing I can find the reason. I would say 10 - 20 times freeze happen since I start using the laptop
Somehow the freeze usually happen when it is under light workloads. eg. web surfing, excel works....etc...
It somehow never freeze when I was playing Ark: Survival Ascended. This game should make this laptop under heavy workload. I had 625.8 hrs game play on this laptop with this game.
I can't say the freeze is related to the 13900h for sure, but I can't say it is not related either...
