Don't bother with this one. The black doesn't come with the mid connecting pieces for each leg meaning the shelf HAS to go in the middle but also it doesn't feel as sturdy or safe. If you look at the silver version you can see the holes blocked in the middle of the legs showing that silver does have these pieces included.
FYI, I purchased 3 of these last BF for roughly $50 and have not had an issue in a basement. Humidifier keeps the humidity in check for the wood so keep that in mind if you don't run one.
Edit: The black version is missing the coupler that the silver version includes. Reach out to manufacturer to have it shipped. It will work without the coupler but you will be required to have a shelf at mid height without the coupler.
Correction: I purchased 3 smaller sizes for $50 last BF and 3 of the larger size for this current sale price, so it is a good deal.

I don't understand what you're saying with the 'mid connecting pieces'. What are the 'holes blocked in the middle of the legs'? I see both are similar and should be about the same sturdiness.

I agree— I have a mastery of all strains of the English language, including gobbledygook, but this was just primordial babel.

I think what they mean is that the vertical legs come in 2 pieces. Some units come with metal brackets that join the 2 pieces together, these do not. The only way you can connect the 2 pieces is by placing a shelf with 1 connector on each side of the connection, joining them together. This setup is really tough to install and much more unstable then using the connectors. The good news, on all 3 of my units I contacted the manufacturer via email and they sent the connectors free of charge.

Yep I bought 4 of the silver ones last month for my basement because the black one didn't come with the coupler. Says it right in the description. So far very happy with the purchase and no issues with the particle board. I do have a dehumidifier running in my basement as well.

It too needs one of the shelf goes into the middle to secure the rack, in fact most of rack have the same design. It's pretty secure as far as I can see, I have all kind of heavy stuff on it. The part I liked the most is how deep the shelf is, 24", you can hold some big containers or computer server in there vertically, very useful design so to speak.
Have been watching it at Costco to buy more, glad some manufacture and Walmart understood the market and stocked a similar product and on sale. Take it while you can.
I have a few sets of these in the pantry, even trimmed 2 uprights to fit under the stairs. The shelf in the middle was not a dealbreaker but did make them harder to assemble.
My only complaint is that the particle board can sag. I do run a dehumidifier and maybe that has helped. I could cut some plywood and use that, but I flipped the particle board spit bowed up and that has helped. Also be careful when sliding heavy stuff on, the particle board can slide in the steel frame a bit and droop. Have to unload the shelf to set the wood back on the lip support. No big deal once you are aware of it.
The 2 units that I purchased and installed over the weekend did include the Couplers. The Instructions also call out the addition of the E-Coupler. Looks like it is a misprint on the product page.

Something to the effect of:
Model number: UR245P-BLK (2 units)
Muscle Rack 48 in. W x 24 in. D x 72 in. H 5-Shelf Steel Shelving Unit; Black
I realize now that they do not include couplers for the vertical supports and was told to contact the manufacturer about this."

I prefer these. Have 7 of them. Also a great price.
