These work pretty well for mosquito bites. It replaced my tried and true method of pushing an X into the bite with my thumbnail, that's how good it is.
Heat can worsen inflammation by increasing blood flow. Also, while heat can temporarily provide relief by basically overriding the itch signal sent to your brain, the itch will typically return once the area cools down. Not to mention the risk of burning skin with hot silverware.

FYI there's an Equate version of extra strength gel at wallyworld for $4 for 4oz.
Yes we have used the 3.5 oz bought from Walmart. Same strength except bigger pack and same ingredients/strengths.
