OMG I bought this EXACT knife about six months ago. I love Kershaw but this is no Leek. It was a heavier lower quality knife which was fine to me but it was so freaking hard to open and close... Not for weak hands. I had to return it after hurting my thumb flipping it. It just never eased up.. loosening and lube did nothing. Well maybe I got a lemon. But heads up!

Anyone else with experience on the assisted open aspect of this knife? It's the right size for what I'm looking for but want a nice clean easy assisted open.

I don't have this knife, but typically China assembly Kershaws have a much wider variation in their tolerances at assembly. Worst case you need to completely disassemble and clean it, but frequently just loosening the pivot fastener a tiny bit will fix the issue. Easy thing to do is buy it, then when it shows up hold it up in front of you folded, make sure the blade is centered through the frame, then try flipping, if it's too tight or too loose adjust the pivot screw accordingly. If that doesn't fix it your abilities will determine the next step (more disassembly or return)

I'm looking for a nice knife to use that isn't to expensive and this one seems nice. When looking at it, I noticed this one is on sale too, same steel, and seems to be longer and not much more. Would anyone be able to let me know if it's a better deal overall? Thank you https://www.amazon.com/Kershaw-Po...B01B7MQE3G

The one you linked has a much smaller clip otherwise build quality is probably similar. For me the ideal EDC knife is 2.5-3" as anything larger can get heavy and bulky in the pocket. Also a knife over 3" could be a problem in some cities or states.

This knife is GARBAGE, I got it and immediately sold it. Action is horrible even for assisted, frame lock Is clunky and stiff, steel is low tier gas station grade. Only thing that has going for is the price and looks. Do yourself a favor and get literally any Ganzo, Sitivian, XTOUC, etc. This knife ain't American made, at least get a good quality cheap knife you're going to cheap out
