For $34 I'd rather the 726 which is also 65w total but 2 USB C ports

The 715 ‎(1.65 x 1.42 x 1.74 inches) is smaller than the 726 (‎2.11 x 2.05 x 1.14 inches), so if you value a more compact charger and are ok with a single USB C port then pick the 715.

I travel with the 715 all the time. It's a little heavy so at some hotels it has fallen out of wall outlet plug holes if they're older (due to weight of charger). If the outlets are on top of a desk and the outlet plugs are facing the ceiling, it has never failed me. I still recommend it and bring it traveling.

Which USB Cables are you using? Since this brick is going straight to wall, we will need longer USB cables, I would say probably around 10ft minimum so we can use these in places like airports or areas where we have to run a cable across furniture etc.
I carry a 3-foot, 6-foot, and 10-foot 100W USB-C cable with me in my work bag. Whatever is reasonably priced in Amazon. Of course, I test them (and chargers) with my laptops upon receipt to make sure I don't get any "slow charging" error messages (my Dell Inspiron is extremely finicky).

That's also what I am worried about. I have ThinkPad and the brick that came with is extremely reliable and powerful and I thought maybe Lenovo might make it difficult to use others.

Do you have voltage tester for these? Or can laptops show the voltage for us using some tool so I can test all my cables and chargers. I have a suspicion some of my cables are horribly slow.

I don't, but I'm tempted to get a voltage tester for USB-C cables as I do have a suspicion some of my older cables are finally wearing out. If I don't get the "slow charging" warning message when I plug a cable into my laptops, I toss it into my cable basket. Otherwise, they immediately get returned to Amazon.

I currently have a ThinkPad T480 (soon to be Dell Latitude) for work and Dell Inspiron 7373 for personal use. Nearly all aftermarket USB-C chargers I have bought to use with them have worked just fine.

What's PPS?
If supported PPS allows the device to choose any voltage within a range at a specific amp or range of amps, rather than need to find a specific supported voltage/amp combination match with the charger. You know how everyone posts how chargers give fake wattage ratings and they can't actually get their device to charge that fast? It's because their device can't find a volt/amp match at the max wattage.

PPS is an important feature and I would suggest not ignoring it. However, it's not as simple as saying a charger has PPS so it's good. You actually want to look at the PPS specs. Oftentimes a charger that supports 100W on USB-PD (20V/5A, usually) will only support 80W on PPS (for examples 3V-16V @ 5A). You want the max PPS wattage to be as high as possible, as well as support as wide a range of volts and amps as possible (to max the chances that your device can find a match near the max wattage).

I have this and does not charge a rog ally, it keeps saying it does not have enough wattage. Charges my steam deck and MacBook fine though.

I have a newer Anker Ganprime with 3 ports on it 67w which works for the rog ally.

Got a couple of these and they're great little chargers! For $30 it's an easy buy since it's from a reputable manufacturer.

You could use your phone and an app like Ampere to test your cables. Naively, I didn't realize how much a cable could affect things until I started testing my cables. Same charger I got 800mA from a short USB-C cord I had and 3600mA from another.

Very true, for some people with needs of only one port the tiny nano is a really cool little charger that's so convenient. I have a 140 watt 3 port one because I always wanna be prepared, but sometimes I wanna have something small that just works for the one device I need to charge 😂

The one you posted is not inherently better. Yours is only 65W total, (20+45) which means it can't charge things like a laptop that require a full 65W.

Well, that comment is a bit misleading in that it will charge a laptop at 65 watts when using only one port (20+45 applies to using two ports).

I'm not a fan of these narror, but tall shaped chargers. They fall out of wall sockets too easily. They only work if you plug them in into a power strip vertically.

I stand corrected. I had another version of this charger with two ports that would not charge my laptop, it seems this version does indeed output 65W when only 1 device is plugged in.

Thanks for the correction.
