Processor has nothing to do with drive interfaces supported by your motherboard. You need to look in the manual, it will tell you.

My Samsung 840 Prop SSD 256gb was north of $225 in 2014.
Amazing drive though....still use it on an MMC server running Ubuntu!
Makes me wonder if anyone is using AI to improve circuit board or microchip design...
