You can install the card in your PC. You have to download an AMD tool, which will ask you to login to your steam account. At this point use your wife's steam account and she will get the game in her account. (Source: this is how it worked for RE4 remake for me)

7800 XT is $499 though. $170 more than this. In the $300 range I think the 6750 XT is best. 7600 has only 8 GB of VRAM.

Just an FYI the memory bus width is cut from 256 bit to 192 bit. So some 1440p games may not hit the sweet spot of 144 fps for 144 hz monitor on high graphics, but at 1080p it will. Then again this is 2023 not 2016 we should all be playing at 4k now and with this card it is totally out of the question.

What do you mean by 'cut', compared to what? The Specs for the 6750 on AMDs site say 192 bit.
