Beat me to posting it haha. Always tempted to bite but the price keeps coming down! Chat with customer service for additional 10% off. Bringing down to 720 before tax

You would blow 50%-100%+ of your $800 budget on a receiver that could support this many Atmos channels, plus then you need all the speakers. Running wires into your ceiling for a "legit" Atmos setup is also a serious PITA, and in general, a massive HT setup just doesn't pass the WAF.

Sound bars have come a long way vs. the models that existed 10 years ago.

Don't think you'll see better than this without bundling. Have the 990B and continued impressed with it even 12+ months later. Have tried Sony HTA9, Ambeo, KEF LS50II and others. None have the entire package, ease of use, and truly immersive around, especially at this price!

Purchased. Was watching for deals or a good Facebook Market offer on Q800B/C. Awesome $350 price for a Q800C, but decided to splurge for the Q990C at $720. I got the additional 10% off by talking with a sales rep. in chat as others suggested. I even honestly told them that I would be pairing the soundbar with my LG OLED.

Just purchased. $720 before tax. Coming from a 6 year old vizio 5.1 system. I originally wanted a traditional AVR system for the family room but I have that already in the theater room in the basement. This should still be great for some gaming and music.

True, but...you can set-up an additional account, with only the email addy being different, and they'll hit you again (what I did, literally while the rep was waiting on chat with me). So, reeped for an 800B earlier this yr and a 900C last month.

Got this a couple weeks ago.

Just told the rep my friend mentioned I could get a discount if I asked and she gave it to me no problem.

So far liking it. Sounds good and wireless.

A couple of things though...

The power cables are SHORT.

They only do Alexa and Bixby, no Google.
Mine won't stay connected to Wi-Fi so I can't even use voice to control volume half the time.
