Sound bars have come a long way vs. the models that existed 10 years ago.

Alternatively, you can get the q900c ($450 after 10%off) which has the same soundbar & subwoofer as the Q990c without the rear satellites. Then addon the compatible rear satellites (SWA-9500S) for the q900c which are 2.0.2. They can be bought from bestbuy for $120 to make it a 9.1.4 system. So total cost would be $570+tax. Yeah it's not 11.1.4 but pretty close.

Finally, 4th chat and got price match refund request for $90 + tax.
But they keep selling these, and people keep buying them and this is Samsung ,so it just my experience.
I regret my purchase, I rather have put speakers in the ceiling.
Tried out the Q990C tonight, I didn't think it was much of an improvement over the Elevate listening to music and was confused as the subwoofer was almost nonexistent at default settings using the Youtube and Spotify app to the point I wasn't sure if it was connected. Then tried Avengers IW and ended up watching/listening for half an hour, blown away by the clarity and punch this has, and felt like a noticeable step up. I don't think the subwoofer can do what the Vizio Elevate can, but I also can't use that turned up very much in an apartment anyways, so I definitely prefer this Samsung so far.
I didn't notice SpaceFit Sound do anything, and Active Voice Amplifier does increase dialogue, but didn't think it sounded good overall. Going to swap bewteen Adaptive Sound and Surround modes for awhile to see which one I like, and maybe boost the Treble a couple notches.
In terms of experience. Would appreciate any inputs.

Also, there is a channels setting in the device settings menu where you can increase the center channel & rear speakers for a more surround sound experience.
I tried clearing app cache, readding soundbar, etc.
I tried factory resetting soundbar.
So far it just... keeps disconnecting.
