You would blow 50%-100%+ of your $800 budget on a receiver that could support this many Atmos channels, plus then you need all the speakers. Running wires into your ceiling for a "legit" Atmos setup is also a serious PITA, and in general, a massive HT setup just doesn't pass the WAF.

Sound bars have come a long way vs. the models that existed 10 years ago.

Don't think you'll see better than this without bundling. Have the 990B and continued impressed with it even 12+ months later. Have tried Sony HTA9, Ambeo, KEF LS50II and others. None have the entire package, ease of use, and truly immersive around, especially at this price!

The Q900C has the same soundbar & subwoofer as the Q990c. The only difference are the rear satellites.

If you want to add the rear satellites, they are the SWA-9500S which are $120 at bestbuy.

Did they ever fix this junk system with the subwoofer sounding like a fireworks box when the bass hits? Something to do with the interference. It never goes away even trying to change the subwoofer channel 1-6. It's so bad.

Tried chatting with the expert several different times. Every time they will not budge on any additional discount if you tell them the price is $800. I tried telling them it was "full price" $1599 and got the following response.

If you place this order now, I can create a checkout link for you by adding 10% off on the soundbar. How does that sound?
However, please note that this offer is not stackable with AAA/EPP discount account.

When I opened this cart the 10% was applied but there wasn't a promo code I could copy and paste into my EPP cart. When I logged into my account it removed the 10% discount for the better price. I believe the additional 10% is now dead.
