You would blow 50%-100%+ of your $800 budget on a receiver that could support this many Atmos channels, plus then you need all the speakers. Running wires into your ceiling for a "legit" Atmos setup is also a serious PITA, and in general, a massive HT setup just doesn't pass the WAF.

Sound bars have come a long way vs. the models that existed 10 years ago.

Don't think you'll see better than this without bundling. Have the 990B and continued impressed with it even 12+ months later. Have tried Sony HTA9, Ambeo, KEF LS50II and others. None have the entire package, ease of use, and truly immersive around, especially at this price!

And yes, I know a lot of audiophiles aren't huge Klipsch fans, but the RP8000F/RP504/RP600M are good speakers for the price.

You're not going to get better sound than this for under $800. And then you have to factor in the cleaner form factor and the plug and play integration with Samsung TVs.

The soundbar would be plugged into the EARC port of the TV. Xbox/PS5 would be plugged into the HDMI 2.1 port of the TV.

Just picked this up from Best Buy. Setup went on without any issues. Everything is working as it should. I am not updating the firmware unless I run into any issues. I do not trust Samsung firmware updates.

Connected to a Samsung S95B. Using adaptive sound. Went into Q symphony on its own (using the TV speakers with the soundbar). Everything sounds fantastic. Very satisfied!

This is replacing a Vizio M512a-H6 which was commendable in its service, but this is substantially better.

Do you know if there's a sale coming soon? I want to buy today, but I want to check stores first, if I bundle other items can I get a discount?. Also. I always start by speaking to an "expert" asking a few questions first then go into the discount spiel. PITA? yeah, kinda, but this is SD, not easy deals
