You would blow 50%-100%+ of your $800 budget on a receiver that could support this many Atmos channels, plus then you need all the speakers. Running wires into your ceiling for a "legit" Atmos setup is also a serious PITA, and in general, a massive HT setup just doesn't pass the WAF.

Sound bars have come a long way vs. the models that existed 10 years ago.

Don't think you'll see better than this without bundling. Have the 990B and continued impressed with it even 12+ months later. Have tried Sony HTA9, Ambeo, KEF LS50II and others. None have the entire package, ease of use, and truly immersive around, especially at this price!

I pump the top channels up all the way for max atmos effect. The sides/wide i put at +2 and the rears at +1 because i keep them fairly close behind me.

I tried asking the customer care rep about the extra 10% discount. The rep told the 10% wont stack up with the epp discount. Anyone got it to work recently?

Literally just purchased. My first code wasn't stackable for some reason. Tried again and got a new code from a different rep and it worked. Can't tell you why exactly

The code always stacked with EPP/ AAA discounts. As a general rule of thumb, never tell the rep you have a special discount and always mention the regular price when asked! Also, I have a feeling that the codes are generated in a "pool" and all reps have access to them and thats why sometimes the code doesn't work because someone else got the same code.

Just got mine today. It came a whole day earlier than estimated time. Funny thing is, I didn't receive an email or anything saying that it was ready to be picked up from BB. Went to my store to check out some appliances and decided to ask the store pick-up about it. Lucky!

I somehow got this and the 77 inch s90c for $3086 by making the chat person make the cart for me. I used AAA membership and he told me it would be 10% off the entire cart but it somehow got the TV to $2187 and the sound bar to $650.
