Beat me to posting it haha. Always tempted to bite but the price keeps coming down! Chat with customer service for additional 10% off. Bringing down to 720 before tax

You would blow 50%-100%+ of your $800 budget on a receiver that could support this many Atmos channels, plus then you need all the speakers. Running wires into your ceiling for a "legit" Atmos setup is also a serious PITA, and in general, a massive HT setup just doesn't pass the WAF.

Sound bars have come a long way vs. the models that existed 10 years ago.

Don't think you'll see better than this without bundling. Have the 990B and continued impressed with it even 12+ months later. Have tried Sony HTA9, Ambeo, KEF LS50II and others. None have the entire package, ease of use, and truly immersive around, especially at this price!

Did you place the order within two weeks? IIRC Samsung only price match for the order within two weeks.

I ordered September 21, and picked it up at Best Buy on September 25. Either way, more than 2 weeks.

Can confirm $700 through AAA. I could not get the lower price to pull up using the app. A chat rep sent me an offer code but the website indicates it was not valid. I had $12 in Samsung rewards and went ahead and pulled the trigger without the additional discounts. Thanks SDers.

Someone else mentioned the same thing about the military discount. These deals are selective and unpredictable. Few weeks ago, even AAA wasn't getting the same discount as other EPP programs in another deal.

Was on the fence at $800. Already had the 2021 QN950A. but just scored one blindly at $675 plus tax using the app and student epp. Anyone know if this is a big improvement over the qn950a besides metal grill and improved sub?
