You don't need the imei of the phones you are trading in. As long as you ordered the trade in phones from Verizon originally….they have all that info already.

Source: I did a trade in without providing imei and have been approved for credits. I just selected the lines with the phones I will trade in and that's it.

When you say "ordered the trade in phones," are you saying ordered the iPhone pro max?

Or are you saying, have it stated on my order that I will be trading in an iPhone?

Costco messed up my address, and Verizon couldn't change it so Verizon csr recommended canceling and starting a new order with the correct address. I want to get this right the next time I go in. Thanks and repped

Is a Visible customer to be treated as new customer or existing customer to Verizon? I'm currently with Visible and want to take this deal. When I check the eligibility of porting my number to Verizon, I was surprised that my number was shown as a existing Verizon number. Any insight?

No my point is that you don't need to provide the imei of the trade in devices to the Verizon rep at Costco. Verizon has that info already unless you are trading in a phone you purchase elsewhere (and connected to VZ)

Pretty sure they're taking iPhone 7 for returnign customers and all the way back to 3GS for new customers, but not 100% sure. Ask another sales person.

They definatly should have entered the IMEI before processing.



My paperwork in the boxes the phones came in had the $250 shop card on them and return envelope and shipping label. Keep the boxes to ship them back in.



Cracked screen is ok but can NOT have a bulging battery per my sales guy.



If you own the phone, you can google how to unlock it. The return instructions do NOT say to unlock it but they want it rest to new and Find my iPhone OFF.

The return packaging and instructions come in the box with the phones, so like someone else said, it's after you get your phone.
Having said that, they told me my15Pro Max wouldn't come til Oct 8 and my daughter's green 15 would come the next week.
Turns out the 15Pro Max came in a week with a Pink 15, then two 14 Pro's showed up, and the Green 15 was last to show up!

Sorry, looks like Costco took it down but someone posted all the stores in the Wiki, or check the T-Mobile and ATT stores link and if your store isn't there, it's almost definitely Vz.

Someone else here said their rep said the same because they didn't know there were other deals available on their screen.

There's apparently a T-Mobile Costco deal going now too.
She should consider the 15Pro Max since it starts at 256gb, and has the 5x camera zoom, so you're really just paying $100 more for the same memory vs. the regular 15Pro.
It's like the 14Pro vs. the regular 15. The 14Pro gives you the same chip but has 3 cameras. The 14Pro is $10/mo x 36 months and NO TRADE in necessary.

You can do the trade in separately after the phone purchase and it doesn't matter where the phone is from (you don't need to provide IMEI to Costco even if it isn't a Verizon phone)

Looks like rep is wrong.

Edit: talk to another store and that rep told me any iphone 3 or higher has same tradein value. And he said I can provide IMEI later online once I am ready to ship the phone but it has to be within 30 days after I ordered iphone15.
Costco, and even Verizon corporate stores, have many clueless reps that give out wrong information. The latter rep was right except it's 30 days after the phone ships (so if your phone is backordered >30 days, it won't be a problem)

I would like to know how to process trade-in? When Costco rep ordered he didn't provide trade in device details anywhere and told me to do trade in after receiving the phone. Now I got the phone and activated but when I try to do trade in through Verizon trade in site it always shows provide valid address after entering imei and other details.

Wanted to give an update , did the deal with 3 iPhone 4's from eBay and 2 broken phones, haven't traded them in yet but the bill credits are showing on my account already. iPhone said it would be back ordered by 25ish days, but got it after 2 days only along with receipts and the trade in pouches. Just waiting on the $250 from Costco, have receipts for that. Seems like a good deal if you have other high value phones that can sell on the street. And can already tell the data is better versus being on legacy depritorized T-Mobile plan.

Have you done the trick to trigger the $10 off per line loyalty credit? I did it after seeing it here on SD and got an email within 24hrs that I was a loyal customer thus I was been given (4) $10 credit for 12 months.
