One with mixed reviews, but I really enjoyed was Remnant: From the Ashes.

Lies of P isn't just a soulslike, it's a straight rip-off. I knew it was inspired by Bloodborne going into it, but I was not prepared for just how much would be lifted from Fromsoft games. Like, every last thing down to the UI and fonts... Taking the combat and emphasis on difficulty for the sake of making a "soulslike" game is fine, but there's not a single original idea here. I'm glad I just tried it via Game Pass and didn't buy it, because I don't really want to support stuff like this.

Fyi as a very casual gamer (got 4 kids at home and zero time)

I got $4 avengers last week and it's awesome.

Just playing the solo campaign and it's fun.

Upgraded to ps4 last year, typically 5 years behind on the video games 🤷 ♂️

YUP, I agree with you. I'm waiting for a sale on the Spideman2 console. I got my PS4 when it was on sale as the Spiderman bundle. My next console will likely be the new Spiderman bundle, assuming the price is right. Waiting on Black Friday which hopefully has the Spidey2 bundle. If the pickings are no good, I can wait another year due to my backlog (GT, the Batman series, and a couple NeedForSpeed games). I don't have time to play that much so it takes a while to finish a game.

Are you me? Wait- I have 3 kids, and used to be an avid gamer.
Definitely casual now.
And like you I am at least a generation behind. Bought a PS4 just a year ago.
Benefit of being a last gen gamer is playing for pennies.
I mean my PS4 library is already full of Triple A titles (Last of Us 2, God of War, Bloodborne, Horizon, etc), all gotten for less than 5 bucks each.
Weather I'll ever get to play them all is another matter...

Not part of the sale, title just came up in the tread as related to Dark Souls/Bloodborne type games- of which Mortal Shell is one.
