i got something like this on amazon made by 3rd party for $5. let me repeat that. FIVE DOLLARS. and it has two USB ports and it works fine. charges my 65W laptop, iphone, etc.
also, the 100W PD rated output assumes you are attaching this to a beefy flexvolt battery. you're not getting 100W out of your 4/5ah batteries
I agree this thing is way overpriced, but I'm not plugging a 1000+ dollar phone into a five dollar, no name China charger. Will it fry your phone or deep discharge your expensive dewalt battery?

This thing is cool but still too rich for my blood, I like that it's PD capable into "laptop charging" territory. Wish they'd sell just the battery clip part for about 30 and I'd be all over it.
I do have an aftermarket one with a 200W Power Inverter with 2 USB Ports and a LED Light. Its USB-A ports only put out ~15 watts and do not support many charging protocols so items charge slowly. With the modified sine wave inverter it was ~$35 on Amazon, but I prefer the DCB094K.
Like others had said, I wish the price was much lower and it did not come with the Dewalt Wall Adapter as is is only 65 watts and most people already have one. But overall I have been pleased with this purchase and have been using it as my main charger for my Dewalt batteries and have used it to charge my drones, etc. on the go.
no, you will not. i tried it! i had this unit before i returned it. your explanation only works on paper. the voltage on these batteries drops as the load increases. the voltage of the smaller packs, like the 2ah, drops as low as 14V on a high load. the 5ah XR goes down to about 16-17V. that voltage drop is the ENTIRE reason why the $200+ 5ah powerstack exists, as well as the new milwaukee forge line of overpriced batteries.
the only you will ever get 20V out of any dewalt battery is if you fully charge it and probe it with a multimeter. but as soon as you add a load, the voltage drops.
to get 100W out of these is to strap this thing to a 9ah, 12ah or 15ah flexvolt. then yea, you get 100W. 6ah flexvolt won't give you 100W either, btw. that battery's output voltage caves pretty quickly.
