If you have Charter Spectrum, your BYOD modems might not get the high-split upgrade when it comes to your market. Reports are saying that only provider supplied modems are receiving it.

I have an SB 6183 on Spectrum in Kentucky. I had a tech out recently to replace the line from pole to the house. He said I would need a new modem once the upgrade is completed. AFAIK they're $10 a month.
