I have the m12 fuel impact driver and, for those low torque situations, the m12 screwdriver. Would the installation driver just be redundant for me?
I picked one up a while back on sale, thought it would be useful… couldn't find a single use-case where it was better suited than my M12 Fuel impact and drill. It's larger than the impact, and less power when you need it… same goes for the drill. The handle guard is obnoxious and gets in the way constantly.
Gave it to my sister in law. Nice all in one tool for her. If a friend is just looking for one thing to have in the house/apartment, I recommend this thing (especially if they're the type to use power tools for IKEA furniture 😉

I also had the same tool set. This will completely replace the screwdriver (it is more flexible, controllable, and compact) and gives you real drilling ability with the included chuck. I still find uses for the impact driver though.

Lol same here. I bought this a while back and been sitting in my toolbox since. Not as compact as the m12 impact and drill.
The Bosch brushless one is on sale now. Going to get that and sell the Milwaukee one.
Mine sat in the box for a good while until I used it for making holes that butt up to the corners in my cabinets for hiding wires for under and over led lights. Have started using since for general drilling and driving. More convenient than carrying the impact and drill.
This is actually my only drill and I use it for everything. It's nice because of all the different head that comes with it, but power can be lacking if you're trying to drill a stud. Pre-drilling the stud then driving a screw will works fine though.
Bought this one last week and sold the 3/8 ratchet for 95. Bit better than hack.
Still haven't use it yet, but good to keep one in my toolset just in case.

I too have the Fuel impact/drill set and m12 screwdriver and while there is a lot of overlap with those three options and this piece I still appreciate what it has to offer. The offset and right angle are it's most unique features but I also appreciate having all the options in one small bag so it has become my go-to unless I know I'll need more power for a task.
Chiming in I have the Gen 2 m12 fuel drill and driver and big dog Dewalts as well. I frequently use this around the house or when going to someone elses place to do something because I can drill and drive with one small tool bag thing, the magnet bit holder on the grip "guard" is nice, and when you need it the right angle and offset tool are indispensable. This thing can cover most day to day household drilling and driving tasks. My biggest complaints are the form factor isn't always ideal, especially with big batteries, and the forward reverse "digital" button rather than slide switch. If you're truly on a budget and have a decent array of driving tools this might not be needed, but if you're a semi tool hoarder this thing is a nice to have, and this is a stellar price for it.
I also have this and combine with stubby cover most my need except the hammer drill function. You can easily get a impact adapter for hex drive and stubby will cover all the high torques.
The ratchet is no longer an option, how did this originally work? The ratchet was valued at 150. If you added that tool, then returned it would you get the full value of the free added tool back?

You pick the "free gift" box, pick the "free gift" (normally with the highest value on a deal like this to get the biggest discount) and then it adds both to the cart with pro rated pricing based on the total discount (eg this tool for 113.80 and the ratchet for 87.20 or something) and then you have to buy both, but once you have them you can return the ratchet for the 87.20 so you're only out of pocket 113.80 for this tool.
