How are you applying military discount to hacks?

Edit: doesn't show up on the app for me. Are you in store or on a web browser?

Great little tool, had it for 2 years and only gripe is the toggle to switch between forward and reverse. I'm used to the slide switch on nearly all drivers/drills. This has a button on top with a light indicator that is very difficult to see in bright light and there is no way of knowing direction without looking.

Great tool. I mostly use the m18 impact driver, but this tool is much lighter for small jobs with specialty fasteners.

kind of silly to compare an installation driver to an 18v drill driver no? It's like saying my 18v drill is a POS because it can't outpower my 40v Auger, but it is slightly more convenient for smaller tasks so 50/100

FWIW I love this thing for all types of installs and light drilling. you hold it like a drywall screw gun and it has some strong magnets on the front to hold your bits as you're working. Pretty well thought out, has a clutch avoid damaging anything, and those specialty attachments make getting into tight spots a lot easier when you need to.

Thanks OP! I picked one up for my Dad as well so he can join the bandwagon

The offset head alone is gold. I just used it with a socket adapter on some nuts close to an inside corner that a ratchet wouldn't have been able to access.

Festool's versions of these are the same 1600 rpm, don't come with the offset head (priced at $139 alone [festoolusa.com]), and are more than twice the price šŸ¤”

Just purchased this driver last week. Already used it to assemble some Ikea furniture and it was amazingly handy. The offset head was especially useful sinking in the bottom edge fasteners of the cabinet. I've spent the last two decades using large tools (18V Makitas) and I can see myself using this for pretty much everything light to medium duty going forward. Wish I had purchased this earlier.

And I designed a mount for the drill to hang from a shelf in my office/maker-space so I now have an "inside drill". Pretty awesome.

Although I have the M18, I've been using this little thing more often than I expected.

For most people and DIYers...the M12 will probably meet 95% of your needs. Versatility with the attachments is very nice.

I've had this kit for at least 3-4 years now and it's one of my most-used power tools. As far as drilling it'll do basically everything you ask it to up until the point you need to use big bits going through thick lumber or you're trying to make big holes in metal. I've used it for everything from cutting holes in solid wood doors for new smart deadbolts to drilling out pinch bolts with cobalt drill bits to drilling into brick with masonry bits to putting together flat-pack furnitiure/cabinetry.

The offset is a lifesaver when you need it and the standard drill chuck makes it versatile. When you're just doing some light-duty work the 1/4 hex slip-lock is lightweight and super easy to use.

The bag is actually pretty good, too. I took the charger out and I keep 1 2.5ah High Output battery (really nice upgrade), 1 small set of drill bits, 1 small set of screw bits, a spring punch, a small Kreg drill guide, and a small extractor set. Basically I just grab the bag whenever I need to drill anything and it's got everything I need.
