Fender doesn't list wiring designs in their specs. You can find "hidden" specs on review or teardown sites. For instance:

https://blog.andertons.co.uk/labs...es-guitars [andertons.co.uk]

I like your "I don't like different parts so it's not better' argument https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima.../emot-LMAO.gif The features are added on, cost more money, and are often mods that people do after-market.

I will say to scratch the pre-amp. That was a special edition and not a part of the normal Player Plus offering.
People don't usually add noiseless pickups to replace the standard Alnico single-coils. They may upgrade them with other single-coils, but I have not met many people who prefer the stacked humbucking "noiseless" to replace them. And personally, I'll prefer a wider fretboard radius over less, but if I wanted a humbucking guitar with a wide fretboard radius, why am I even looking at a Strat? Why am I looking at Fender?

Why not? they have nice contours, are lighter than a LP, and (depending on your thoughts) can look cooler?

Yep- I'm a big fan of HSS Strats and SH Telecasters. Best of both worlds.

Even though they don't have the nice contours that american ultras have, I admit one reason I am curiously looking at doing a mod shop guitar is the ability to order it with an HH or even HSH setup lol.

If they had them with the american ultra body/neck contour shit I'd be done ordering already. Applause It'd probably cost too much though.

Player Plus guitars are significantly better than Player guitars. The uninformed need to get a clue. They have rolled fretboard edges like a MIA, for example. No other production guitar in MIM history has had that. The Player Plus Strat is the only MIM Fender I own. It's worth every penny. LOL indeed.

The Know Your Gear guy on YouTube Phillip McKnight trashed the Fender noiseless pickups. He says they're a flawed design and often show up in his repair shop. What is your experience?
