Plus the biggest difference is probably that it can't be attached to a television. Handheld only.
Smaller screen and no detachable joy-cons so if (when?) you get joy-con drift you'll likely have to send the entire unit in to be repaired vs just replacing a joy-con.
Nintendo updated it many many times over two years and the current game is completely different then when it was launched soI honestly have no idea what you are talking about.
There is also a rumor of another surprise update for when LEGO Animal Crossing sets release next year.

Whats the difference between lite and normal version?

These seem to be just their regular turquoise and pink with a leaf logo on the bottom right and leaf pattern on the back. The Pokémon exclusives were much better.
It's really too bad Nintendo doesn't bother supporting any of their games with post-purchase content. Animal Crossing was such a smash hit in 2020 but they only released one ho-hum update and so now nobody plays it any more. It also doesn't help that good game releases are few and far between. Our kids struggle to find Switch games they want to play and have mostly switched over to Xbox at this point.

Thanks for the info. I checked out the pink. It's cute but I think the blue looks nicer. A bit softer color not as loud.
Here is the link for the Target version is anyone is interested.
