Product Description:
  • Wilson brings back one of their most solid spin machines. With the Burn 100S v4 will gives intermediate and advanced players a power for spin machine. Boasting an 18x16 Spin Effect string pattern, the Burn 100 S puts a tight grip on the ball, resulting in easier access to spin. With its 326 swingweight, the 100S comes around with decent speed to deliver a solid feel at impact. Made with a firm Carbon Fiber Graphite, the Burn's response feels crisp and powerful. This stick also features Parallel Drilling which helps the strings soak up more vibration and transfer greater energy to the ball. From the baseline this racquet rewards full swings with enough pop to control the action. It also provides very easy access to spin, making this a great racquet for the aggressive topspin player who likes hitting heavy spin-loaded balls that drop hard and explode off the court. Although the 11.2 ounce weight is manageable for intermediates, the 326 swingweight gives it enough plow through for the more advanced player. At net the 100S comes around quickly to deliver a solid and lively feel. On serve the combination of spin, precision and pop will give you the ability to force some very weak replies. Ultimately, this powerful and spin-friendly weapon is dangerous in the hands of an aggressive player.

Solid racquet for the price. Way better than any aluminum Walmart racquet. Also, these TW dampeners are $0.49 each for filler:

If anyone is needing a GREAT tennis ball machine for cheap, get the slinger bag it's great
They will string it. 53 lbs is the average tension so I'd go with that if your aren't sure.

If I choose a string. Are they gonna put the strings on the racquet or just send them separately to me?

Go with the Free synthetic gut unless you are a more intermediate or advanced player.

How does this compare to Babolat Boost Drive 2021, Head Ti S6 and Yonex Ezone Ace? I am a beginner and looking for a starter racket. Ideal weight 250 - 275 grams for a beginner level racket. Just checked out this Wilson is 285 grams. Any inputs will help. thanks!

I've picked up tennis for a couple of months, and looking to upgrade out of my beginner's Wilson Federer that I got for $30. How does this compare to the Wilson Hyper Hammer 5.3 or Wilson Ultra Pro 103, two other rackets I'm looking at (because they're available on FB Marketplace)? I can't really tell the difference.

Very similar to hyper hammer 5.3 but a bit stiffer of a racket so it's more powerful but slightly less comfortable. This is a higher end racquet than the hammer, probably similar to the Ultra Pro quality wise. This is a more spin friendly racquet than Ultra.

This is a higher quality racquet than those options. This is heavier for a more intermediate player but honestly beginners can adapt to any racquet.
