Other than the extra head and different chargers, any other differences between the 5000 limited and 5000 posted yesterday?

I've always had Sonicare but have recently been interested in trying Oral-B. Looks like this is the one. Thanks OP!

The new iO oral B ones are even better. They're basically sonicare micro vibrations combined with oral b movement. Theres a deal for like $35 or something for the iO4 on seconddipity on here. I opted for that over this one. Brush heads are more expensive though.

Have had the Oral B Triumph 5000 for like a decade. Still working
😂 I think it's time for an upgrade.

I've had several generations Oral B electric toothbrushes and I highly recommend them. I could not manually clean my teeth as well as these- especially in the back. The only downside is buying replacement heads that are expensive unless you buy them ahead of time with the regular deals that come up from time to time.

This is a very good deal. I'm tempted to buy it myself but already have a back up Oral B I bought a few years back on a deal. I thought my older one was reaching the end of its life, but they seem to last longer than they used to.

Have you had servers generations because they keep breaking?

I just don't feel like this is the endorsement it is supposed to be…

This has one more brush mode than the 6000. This has built in rechargeable battery. The 6000 uses AAA

Any good reason to get this over the regular 5000 pro for $5 more? Does this use the regular brushheads in lower priced models?

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00O8ODHOA/

Edit: it looks like it has the same functions but you get one more brushead and a travel case.

No, the IO series is better with their newer technology that vibrates like Sonicare.

So what model is this? Is it an IO model? Are the IO models worth spending more for?

The IO models use newer technology that adds a Sonicare-like feature to the existing pulsations and oscilations. There's a thread right now for a deal on the IO 4 for $35, minus $5 more from a P&G rebate. A couple of days ago, Walgreens had the IO 3 for almost free after the Walgreens cash it gave you, after factoring in the P&G rebate, and the IO 4 for like $15 after the rebate. So it is definitely possible to get deals on the IO models for cheaper than this model.

And if you're a Costco member you can get the Oral-B iO 5 in a 2-pack for $120 + $7.99 shipping.
