Make sure you register your Sonicare to "extend" their warranty out the full 3 years of coverage. I am glad I did this last year when I bought a set of these newer 4100s to replace mine and my wife's 5 year old Sonicare handles. Thing is, I kept the old (thicker style) handles for use camping and at work and they are still ticking at 6 years without issue... BOTH of our 4100s have broken around the one year mark.

Apparently the metal tips, where the brush heads pop on, are much weaker on these newer models because some kind of linkage inside both of ours broke causing the metal tips to flop around loosely far diminishing their cleaning power and making an un-godly terrifying sounding noise each lol. Philips was good about replacing them both though, just had to call them and give the serial numbers and had replacements a week or so later (with prepaid labels included to ship the 2x broken ones back). They actually upgraded us to fancier models since they were out of stock on the 4100s fore warranty replacements I guess.

Needless to say, we still had our trusty "backup" set under the counter to use in the interim haha. Register your warranty though, it only takes a minute! I'll still stick with them because Oral-B cannot touch what Sonicare offers in my opinion as someone whose dentist is consistently wowed how much both our dental health has improved the last 6 years using their products.

You bought the new model. This deal is for the older version with charging stand and power plug. I'm looking at it right now

If it were $20 I would pull the trigger. I bought multiple of Sonicare in 2018 and 2019 at $20. I also bought at $30 at BF of 2015.

$30 isn't too bad, maybe just warm-up price for the Black Friday.

I bought two of 4100 for the same price ($30/each) back in Jan 2023 to replace our old toothbrushes and was very impressed with their performance. In comparison, using my old Oral B Pulsonic would take about twice the time to clean teeth to the same state (not even mentioning that it's hard to find Pulsonic replacement heads for a reasonable price anymore)

Can certainly recommend 4100 model, if you are in doubt.

Heads up. We bought this same model over the weekend. The charger does not come with its own "power brick" to plug into an electrical outlet. The cord terminates with a USB style end. I thought that was a really weird place to cut a corner…. will use the charger from the unit it is replacing instead.

This is a great product imo. I've had mine since Oct 2020 and it's still running strong.

The average American has a collection of USB-A chargers sitting around unused…maybe you are the rare exception?

Doesnt this one usually hit $20 on BF every year?

Besides $13, what are the differences between the 2 models?
