That Buydig deal of this with the $150 gift card + similar warranty length is technically better, but both deals ultimately suck. Keep waiting if you're not desperate. Hodl.
Does NOT cover burn-in... see the attached from Costco website... under section 9. What's Not Covered: A. All Protection Plans (Q) "burn-in" https://content.syndigo.com/asset...iginal.pdf

Buydig is $100 shipping (calculated for me at least) so it works out to an extra year for $50 at Costco.
Also don't count out Costco's return/price match policy. Just my two cents...

Ah for some reason I thought the shipping was free, but yeah that makes it even less attractive then. Folks should stick with Costco if at all possible (unless you're saving a ton), but remember the return period isn't infinite for their electronics (if that's what you were referring to). Still better than most I guess at 90 days.
Overall was just saying this TV is still not at its sweet spot and these sellers know it, but are playing hardball.
Costco's price match is only 30 days and only with itself, not other sellers. So, in fairness, there's a decent chance they will have moved all of these 65" C3s out before Black Friday and there will be nothing left to match. The current sale is only good through 10/22, which would put 30 days at the Tuesday before Black Friday, probably by design. However, they do have a 90 day return policy. So if the deals are just that crazy good, there's always the option to go finagle around that. If I were so inclined, I might just see what happened if pull a manager aside and say "We can do the return dance that will be a pain for all of us, or you can just price match for me. It's worth it to me..."
Keep my eyes on this LG C3 and Sony A80K (2022 version) which is $1598 on Amazon. I knew C3 is 2023 version, otherwise, which one is better? Not sure should I pull the trigger now or wait for Black Friday. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Does the Allstate warranty offered by costco covers burn-in issue? Anyone knows?

I'll probably get thumbs down for saying this, but I'd take the LG C3 or Samsung S90C because I'm primarily a gamer, and I don't like screen finish on A80J, A80K, A80L. They're either semi gloss or semi matte, and I'm not a fan of them. Sony swapped out my defective A8H for the A80J, and I haven't liked it since. My wife and I relocated it to our bedroom.
I'm blessed to have the latest consoles and PC with HDMI 2.1. The Sony only has two HDMI 2.1 ports so you either have to add in additional HDMI switcher or AVR to add more HDMI 2.1 ports.
If you primarily watch TV, movies, and sports go for the Sony for the motion handling, upscaling, and processing. If you have multiple HDMI 2.1 consoles, go with the LG.
