Lifetime Warranty and Lifetime Service Agreement are different things. Product is not defective if it wears out from excessive use. Under the LSA that would be covered

I have this from a previous grand opening sale for $40 about 3 years ago. It's big and noisy, and in hindsight I wish it was smaller. But it's $40 and I've used it a ton so at $60 it's a steal.

I also checked - mine is the 12-gallon model so this will be huge. These vacs are something you pull out for the dirty jobs, and suck up water with an additional wet filter.

Why does every measurement in the tool world have to exist to confuse people? Why not use a metric that actually makes sense?
Many years ago I ran a vacuum cleaner repair shop. People just would NOT hear that their plugged into the wall machine didn't really have 4 or 5 HP. My house has a central vac with twin 10A 220V motors. Really does make 5HP and has good suction. Can't use it for wet pickup though.

It was great for me but 16 gallon is huuuggge and overkill for most home owners....sold it on marketplace....I prefer the more upright ones opposed to the short and squatty shop vacs like this one

Not this one! The benefit of ridgid vacs are they've got good peak to size ratio.

Unfortunately you're not going to see the 6.5 this cheap - size-to-usability ratio is better.

Yeah this one should be good. I kick myself for not buying this when it was on sale for $105, maybe (hopefully) it will be on sale again. And if you clean your car with it, I think the kit is essential with a shopvac.

The majority of Ridgid vacuums are made by Emerson Electric. The only one that
I know of that is not made by Emerson, is the hand vac, and that is made by TTI.
