return the battery/charger kit and keep the "free item"

they will show as two different prices in your cart.

This is new:
Please make sure promotional items have the same delivery or pickup options and try again

Do you still just put it in for delivery for both and just return the thing you dont want? I used to select pickup for the thing i didnt want and let it just cancel after the time period.

I believe you can also return the 'free' item and keep the battery/charger kit if you need batteries.

Prices can be made better by using the 2 free tool deal [homedepot.com] and choosing a disproportionately highly priced tool in addition to the tool you actually want. Cancelling the $399 kit and the extra tool will net you out a better price for the other tool.

Might get the grinder, too.. is it better than milwaukees brushless 18v grinder? I have the Milwaukee one and it's ok, but don't love it

Also, how does the brushless jigsaw stack up against dewalts brushless jigsaw? Similar? I have the dewalt and like it, but need a secondary option

Thanks, dude. I've been needing the oscillating tool and can't go wrong with more batteries and a charger.

It will last longer durability wise as the m18 fuel version has a weak bearing, but performance is similar so not really any point to switching.

One day, one of these Milwaukee / Makita deals that includes a grinder will be for an adjustable speed version.

Decent 'foot in the door' kit for the 2 batteries and either jigsaw or grinder. This is pretty much an exact match for the $199 deal Milwaukee's got going too - Milwaukee deal has some stronger tool offerings (including jigsaw, router, grinder, portable inflator), FWIW:

The lack of variable speed trigger killed it for a lot of people.
