The heatsink version also has a $27 off coupon and is only slightly more expensive.

Anyone looking to drop it into a PS5 it's probably worth getting the version with the heatsink.

I got this today. It's the non-heatsink to put in my pc. The one with the heatsink looked like it wouldn't fit as it's going to connect directly behind my video card.

Nice catch, just ordered one from Best Buy the other day, guess that one is getting returned and $25 is going back in my wallet.

Yes!
If you need to put a nvme stickin an enclossure, laptop or mini computer there is not enough room for a tall heatsink. You need to get a low profile heat sink.

You do want to put on a low profile heat sink. They cost 10 bucks.

you should find a low profile heat sink that fits and use it. these sticks can get too hot and die if you go without a heat sink.

Damn, I paid $120 at Best Buy a few months ago. Great price, and works flawlessly for PS5 expansion (with a heat sink)

With the way world events are spiraling out of control I would not trust that anything will be cheaper a year from now.

If anyone still has the Amex 40% off deal, this or the 990pro are an absolute steal.

True. Even thought this country doesn't intend to go full scale war with china it still wants an economic war. I'll wait a few weeks and will buy whatever i need now before prices increase. Middle east is the one we need to worry about. They'll kill us all.

I would like it. I don't need it now. I can wait 2-4 weeks. I already have fast wd850 but it's my only 2tb and primary drive. I want to upgrade my smaller pcie3 drives. In 3-6 years these drives will be phased out.
if you can wait another 4.5 weeks, that'll answer all of your questions I think. The hd/ram market has stayed pretty consistent over the last few months. I can imagine blackfriday/cyber monday maybe pushing these prices down another 5-10% at the absolute maximum which for something priced like this, is at max ~$10. so you gotta just figure in your discretionary income and like you said, if you don't need it, might as well just wait another month to see if by chance the two big annual tech sales bring even larger deals.
