I have this and the gas piston was done after 6 months. Head rest is flimsy and lumbar is not very good. I'm only buying chairs after I try them
In person from now on.

i do not recommend a 3 panel mesh like OP.

I would recommend checking out Staples or local office furniture stores and buying something there after trying it. Or even just use that to try out chairs then buy locally on Facebook marketplace, eBay, etc. Steelcase Amia for instance can be had for $100-$300 second hand.

These things are much better than the $99 bonded leather chairs that only last about a year before the leather starts coming apart like a Floridian with Leprosy.

I have an ergonomic chair exactly like this from Amazon.
The adjustable armrests move around on their own - very annoying.
The mesh seating is very unforgiving and I had to add a cushion because tailbone was getting sore - the edges of seat are also hard .
Ever buy sneakers with too much molding in arches etc?
That's what these "ergonomic" chairs are like and I'm sorry every day I bought it

I fall asleep on the Hyken all the time. We bought a few Hykens for office use 3 yeara ago and they look brand new. Previously, we had to buy new office chairs every year due to bonded leather flaking off. Definitely rec mesh chairs, Hykens in particular.

Staples Dexley > Hyken unless you are < 5'8".

Though, I wish the dexley armrests also adjusted in/ out plus up/down.

These are great, full mesh are so much better, your farts filter through the mesh and dont stink it up like other chairs with a cushion. lol Big Grin

I'm sitting on a Staples Hyken right now and I absolutely hate it. Probably the worst chair I've ever sat on. Bought it with reward points and can't even return the damn thing.
