And... a 32" ultrawide is in no way reduced quality when compared to 27". Expanding out horizontally just means there are more pixels and more viewable picture. If your computer can't handle the additional pixels, that would mean reduced quality, but the DPI should be the same. If you take ultrawide out of the equation, the 27" will be crisper.
I meant comparing 27" standard to 32" standard. When both are running at 1440p then yes absolutely the 32" has a lower dpi as you mentioned.
Right now my internal debate is between 34" ultrawide or sticking to 27" (or considering a non-ultrawide move from 27" to 32")

btw I upgraded from a 27" to this Alienware and I'm still loving it every day. All tho the 4 hour notification or w/e doesn't seem to pop up anymore asking me to do pixel shift. It only happens when I turn the monitor off.
I still think about that C2 also. I have my desk away from the wall enough that it would have worked..
