I was able to order that deal but they ended up canceling it. I'm sure they probably did that to everyone

I've been having issues forever with the camera not connecting to the Nest app or home app. Turning it off and on works for a while, then it happens again. Great for what it is, but for me, the camera must be faulty.
Happened to me too... saw online that joining the Preview Program (beta testing) was a fix. Worked for me. In the home app
-go to your device
-settings for device
-device information
-preview program...join

Probably do a restart after as well.

Happening to a lot of us, if you check out the reddit forums on this, factory reset will tend to fix the problem. Unfortunately Google has really let us smart home adopters down.

I had the same issue, the Nest app just keep spinning and nothing load.

I suggest you try open it from the Google Home app, it worked for me using GH app, and click on View Nest Cam.

Nest Google products have really fallen behind the last few years. Nest cam outdoor battery is just the worst. I'm trying to sell them but no one wants them, huge waste of money. Google nest used to make great products. Just look at this nest hub, looks the same and hasn't changed for many years. Google is on a downward spiral.

Google has more or less abandoned their smart displays for smart home stuff. Alexa is the only game in town unless you're willing to invest in Home Assistant

I got one during the Target clearance a few weeks ago. We use it mainly as a small video player, Nest camera, and for video calls with family. It's a little slow (expected since it's 5 years old) and occasionally glitchy, but for the most part we are quite pleased with it. My parents were visiting and my dad liked it so much he asked if he could get one - so I picked up another one for him before the clearance stock ran out.

It's great in the kitchen - much easier to have a recipe up on the big screen than fumbling on my phone. I watched the first game of the World Series the other day while dicing vegetables.

Google making this less and less attractive and probably why it's getting cheaper now after 4 years being at same damn absurd price. This is the price it should have been released at. Hoping for further price drop.
