It ends and you use another 3 month sim. Port your number to google voice, get a fake new number with this sim and forward your calls to this new number from google voice. Rinse and repeat every new sim and you will be able to take advantage of ANY prepaid deal promotion from any prepaid carrier forever

Pixels always get the latest Android version so your user experience may be better than mine.

Yeah I think it's an extra app, not part of the default suite.

Edit: Actually, if you're just using it for forwarding, you might not need the app. I use the app as my phone dialer because I use the Redpocket 500MB/100Min/100Txt plan and that's not enough minutes/texts to have forwarded to my cell plan.

Any iPhone 14 users here? Does anyone know the answers to the below questions related to the Mint and iPhone 14? Thank you.

1. My number and device (iPhone 14, no SIM card tray) were on Mint (eSim) from June to September this year. I originally started in June with iPhone 13 (physical sim), then changed to iPhone 14 (eSim) in July. After September, I have been on another provider so far for about 45 days. Would I (my number and device iPhone 14) be considered as a new customer for this Mint deal now?

2. How can the Mint sim kit for this deal be activated for iPhone 14 users? The kit contains 3 SIM cards (various sizes) but iPhone 14 doesn't have a sim tray. How would that work?

You would have to contact customer support to get an esim number to enter. Some people who have left Mint for less than 90 days have commented that when they sign up again they use a different email address and a different credit card number or a virtual credit card....and they have not had any problems. I cannot say from personal experience, though.

That's a T-Mobile tech support date not a Mint date. All T-Mobile and related mvnos sims have a ~2 year Activate By date. Mint sims bought directly from Mint are a hard 45 days. Those purchased from Target, Best Buy are...more flexible.

Yes Target. Inside the package on the sim card itself gives the activation code and activate by..... date. That is why you buy the cards from target or bestbuy and not from mint online

Possible solution for those who need to port # to cellular \ don't want to do Google Voice- as long as your phone can handle more than one Sim:

TextNow Sim 99 cents, monthly service free for Unlimited call\text only- port # to it. Or to Google, and just use TN # instead, alongside Mint service.

Also, bump my unanswered question:
Can I use Target promo gift card to buy additional line.
And...no maximum on how many of these I can buy (assuming plenty in stock)?

Yes, mint cards bought at target and bestbuy do not follow the 45 day activation rule that mint imposes on purchases made directly from mint.

Do you guys think a deal like this one that Mint/Google Pixel had may come around again? Or something similar to it with a new phone? Everyone who wanted that phone and not the mint service, just sold their Mint sim activation card that came with that phone that had the 12 month plan on it for cheap on eBay. I was able to get an entire YEAR of mint service for under $50 by just buying that sim activation card. I have service until April, but will be looking for a new deal then with them. Is it best to just wait and see what happens then?

Regarding going back to Mint, while I cannot recall the exact number of days I ported out from Mint to another carrier for, I do recall it was not a long time. And I used a different email address to activate the new sim. And the kicker is the other carrier was also a part of the Mint family. I just cannot recall their name. And for eSIM I'm sure Mint will have some info on their website. Check out their FAQ section. Hope this information is somewhat helpful.
