I'm a software developer myself and I know not all software changes get tested to the same rigor for all edge case/use case scenarios across all permutations of network congestion and hardware/software platforms. I think somewhere in their software process, they don't have enough tests for when networks have higher latencies or when phones are 1 or 2 android versions behind. On the bright side, Google goes out of their way to rigorously test and ensure Android and their apps work the best on Pixels. Pixels always get the latest Android version so your user experience may be better than mine.
It sounds like I do need the Google Voice app installed on the phone (it's not enough to configure things in a web browser on voice.google.com), right?

Edit: Actually, if you're just using it for forwarding, you might not need the app. I use the app as my phone dialer because I use the Redpocket 500MB/100Min/100Txt plan and that's not enough minutes/texts to have forwarded to my cell plan.
1. My number and device (iPhone 14, no SIM card tray) were on Mint (eSim) from June to September this year. I originally started in June with iPhone 13 (physical sim), then changed to iPhone 14 (eSim) in July. After September, I have been on another provider so far for about 45 days. Would I (my number and device iPhone 14) be considered as a new customer for this Mint deal now?
2. How can the Mint sim kit for this deal be activated for iPhone 14 users? The kit contains 3 SIM cards (various sizes) but iPhone 14 doesn't have a sim tray. How would that work?
Thanks in advance for your help!

TextNow Sim 99 cents, monthly service free for Unlimited call\text only- port # to it. Or to Google, and just use TN # instead, alongside Mint service.
Also, bump my unanswered question:
Can I use Target promo gift card to buy additional line.
And...no maximum on how many of these I can buy (assuming plenty in stock)?
Thanks.
Thanks.
